And in the text of the article, they manage to use the word 'residence' where 'residents' is wanted. You'd think there'd be a job for me around here.

You expected something better from someone who spells his name Nik? [yeah, I'm assuming Nik is male, and I know the editorial staff is usually responsible for headlines, but still.]

Oh, man, the caption just finished loading. "Rabbit" was bad enough, but now the fox is accompanied by Jewish clergy? Oy.

The Capital, the Annapolis and Anne Arundel County (MD) newspaper once had a typo in 72-point type on the front page of the A section. It was some kind of late-breaking story, so it was probably typeset at three am, but it was still inexcusable.

Nobody ever seems to learn that they need editors. It's tragic.

Um, Nik could be short for Nikolas or Nikole--not everyone spells it with the "ch" after all.

And that's a job for a proofreader, not an editor, anyway.
