So, some pictures of recent importance (I'll try and collate poll data this weekend, btw. I may forget though.)

The dress I will wear for my brother's wedding:



It's not the most gorgeous dress I've ever worn but it's attractive and flattering, and hell, after the week of trying things on that I had, I would have been happy with anything that made me *not* look like my Boston brother brought a Cow Parade statue home for the wedding. The fact that this dress isn't even ugly or over-emphasizing my chest is more than enough. The fact that it fits properly is just golden.

(and yes. it is not the most flattering style ever. And yes, I should wear a bit more of a scoop neck than that. And yes, jackets are shapeless and make me look lumpy. (I am shapeless and make myself look lumpy) But it will not embarass anyone, so I am happy. And I have two more to mail back.

Given that my boss is leaving the company and my supervisor has said to me he doesn't know what the proceedure for me getting a raise/promotion/etc, I'm momentarily, though not completely stumped. There is always HR...except that I think our HR rep left the company too, so that might not help much. I can (and probably should) bother my supervisor again about the process, but I have a feeling he'll just fob me off with a 'wait until things get settled' response, if I even get that much. It will give me something to think about this weekend, as I sit and listen to everyone debate pointless details of our house bylaws. I really should be clerk of that meeting. That would whip them into shape.
