Jun. 12th, 2006 01:49 amIt was sunny today, so I took the T to Havard square this afternoon and walked home. I can't remember how far it is, just that it took me about 5 hours, but most of that was shopping. I bought Gosford Park on DVD, the new Keane CD, 20.06 in books, and an iced hot chocolate. Not in that order, though. I walked from Harvard to Central, Central to the Garment District, and the Garment District home. And on the bridge I worried that I'd be late for dinner, and checked the time. Yeah. 7pm. And what time did my house meeting--the meeting I was clerking--start? oh, about 7pm. But seriously, it's been cloudy every night for probably a month. I literally had no idea it was 7. I was totally guessing from the light that it was 6.
I also tried on about 47 million dresses at the garment district, of which 4 actually fit me. "Attractive" would stretch the point, but possibly 'passable.' I'll see what my mom says when she checks her mail.
Oh, and I made bread yesterday, but someone turned off the oven at the wrong time and thus it fell instead of rising. I'm assured that it still tastes good even flatish and ugly as it is. I was just really looking forward to it, since I felt like i'd done a really good job with it, overall, and I wanted to see how the grain turned out.
