Jun. 16th, 2004 10:41 amSo hot last night. It was okay so long as I wasn't moving, but of course I kept moving. Well, not all evening, which I mostly spent trying to write, but mostly just staring at the screen. bah. But once I went up to go to bed, I was too hot to sleep. I went back downstairs for a glass of water and sat in the hallway for a bit, just reading, and then finally went to bed a little too later for my eyes to be totally open today. Actually, it was only around 1:00, so I don't know why I'm so tired, other than the fact that I didn't sleep all that well. which is probably a good reason all by itself.
Walking up the stairs with my glass of water, I kept hearing this weird noise, which I intially blamed on the steps, and then my shoe, but alas, it's my knee. Knees should not make noise, I know that, and especially not a crunchy, rice krispies type of sound. So I have to baby it for a bit, which means taking the elevator when possible and not bending it when I walk downstairs. My glucosamine came, so we'll have to hope it's a miracle worker. I think that just paying attention to it should help a lot too--I keep abusing it mercilessly the days that it doesn't hurt, so then the next day, of course, it's painful as anything. From talking to my mom though, I'm not sure there's really anything I can do about it--it's probably just pieces of already damaged cartilege getting caught in the joint, so until I can afford to have it vacuumed out, it's not going to change much. But I can keep the inflamation in my joints overall down, and stop abusing the poor thing. Stupid uneven streets here don't help any, let me tell you. Nor does my tendency to hyper extend and lock my knee when I'm doing normal things like sitting with my legs up. So I probably will go buy a big pillow type thing this week so I can sleep with my knee flexed.
Yummy Chai today, and yummy chai boy.
I'm almost done with chapter 7 of 12 for the german book.
I think I've only got one sub out there, other than the storyhouse piece that I really should query. And I'm seeing WotF responses, so it may be waiting for me at home any day now. I need to do something about this. *sigh*.

Okay, so "Anonymous" includes *anyone* without an account. Which means that Andrea has commented more times than like, loads of people put together.
