So I get in this morning and there's an email from my agent at the temp place, asking if HM is going to be keeping me on. I stalled on answering it for a while because I wasn't sure what the protocol is--do I ask the people I'm working with for more money first, or the temp agency? I finally decided to err on the side of carefulness, and so I just wrote back and told her that yes, they said they had work for me for a while.

She writes back very pleased (yeah, cause she doesn't have to find me more work), and informs me that as of next week my pay goes up a whole .65 an hour. be still my heart. but also mentions that she's going to try asking them for more money for me, seeing as they clearly are impressed with my skills. So, being the supercool sauve person I am, I write back and say how pleased they seem to be with my skills, and how they're having me do web stuff and some graphics work (okay, it's all of cuting graphics and saving files, but still), and how nice it is to use my skills again. So hopefully that'll give her a bit of an edge when she asks for more money.
