Yay! got my PIN for my loan online stuff, and did a couple things that should help--requested a forbearance for a couple of months in the hope that I'll find a job soon, and changed from the repayment plan I have now to a cheaper one. See, when I left school, I figured I'd be paying off a good chunk of my loan quickly. So it didn't matter what plan I picked, and I went with the fastest paying-off option. and then I did pay off a couple big chunks so I didn't have money due for a while--since 12/00, actually, though I think I gave them my bonus last year. But of course I start having to pay off the loan at the same time that I'm jobless (and yes, I realize that if I'd been paying all along, even though I didn't have to, I'd be better off now, I just didn't get into the habit of it at the time.), so I realized I should look and see what my options are. And the graduated plan (which is the most overall, but smallest payment) is just $90 a month. Instead of $150. much nicer.
