I'm famous (or infamous) at home. My stepmom reports that in the report about the protest, which they got duncan's sex wrong, they reported that they met up with me down here. :)

Oh, my favorite kid's book is re-issued in the UK. How Tom Beat Captain Najork and His Hired Sportsmen. Along with the sequel, A near thing for Captain Najork. It's ridiculous. It's about a boy who likes fooling around and his creepy aunt who tries to teach him to behave by getting Captain Najork to teach him a lesson. It's got silly pencil drawings by Quentin Blake, who we loved anyways, but the text is my favorite--we actually have a favorite family dish called "potato sog" after the dish in the story. It's not out over here, but the next time I buy books from the UK, I'll be getting at least one copy of this for my brother (not the little one--I bought him a copy already, the 22 year old.)
