Aug. 28th, 2002 01:28 amOh, yay! Cory Doctorow's new story's been published already.

Go read it, so I can talk to people about it. It's been driving me crazy not to have someone to discuss it with, cause it wasn't published yet. And it's super cool, and it's the first original fiction Salon's published. (says Cory) Now, if he would just go finish his damn novel, I'd be happy.
In my own writing news, I've managed a staggering 70 words tonight. At times it may have been as high as 100. Bad Celia. No biscuit.

Aug. 28th, 2002 01:40 pmI hate meetings. Even on good days, I hate meetings. But more than anything, I hate staff meetings. I used to like them when I could bill overhead for everything, and had so little to do that an hour once every two weeks was a pleasure. But I've got *so* much work to do now. And it's as close to required as they come, but I'm going to be gone on friday, and I *can't* spare the time--it's going to be 2.5 hours. HOURS.
The big boss of the company is going to be there, and all, but that's nearly 3 hours--probably will be, cause they never end on time, and all of my stuff has to be finished by tonight, if possible, so I can pass it on for Quality Checking so I can make corrections tomorrow. And my coworker has a whole lot of stuff that needs proofing, so the faster I can get all this down, the more time she'll have for my stuff, and the more time I'll have for her stuff.

Aug. 28th, 2002 10:53 pmOkay, I'm going to ramble about Clanless here, cause it's easier to think here than in Word, somehow.
( mindless babblings about a story that's probably not nearly as interesting as I think it is )
