I am making a list. Things I must do to move home by April. Places to look for a job, things that I need to take into account, what the frick to tell my roommate and my job.

An interesting theory. I'll put you on my list of maybes. Of course, the high cost of living will put a damper on the likelyhood of this happening, unless you want to get me a full ride to stanford with a teaching assistantship. :)

Seriously, though, I'm happy and impressed that you're taking steps to change things -- I know you haven't been all that happy, living in DC, but it would still be very easy to stay due to the job and such.
