It's Russian. We learned it from a friend who'd been to Spain for study abroad. He'd learned it from an Australian, I think. It means 'fool,' and the object of the game is not to lose. I played it every Tuesday night for most of my college career. Alex taught us, and we taught the kids after us. Though for me, it was never as good as it was freshman spring. But nothing was ever as good as freshman spring.
