Coming down

So, anyways, I got in. Now, this doesn't mean I can go--I have to get the time off, figure out money, both for it and to cover me not being here, and there's all sorts of other things to figure out too, but I GOT IN! I've never even sold anything, but I got accepted to spend 6 weeks in East Lansing writing till my hands fall off. :) My mom tells me she knew all along that I'd get in, but I was totally terrified when I saw that envelope. My dad--well, he wasn't near as excited as my mom, but he didn't really know what it was. WHen I explained it, he sounded a little more pleased by it. And he did say "oh, so you'll have to get a laptop too, won't you..." So maybe I'll get a nice birthday present this year. :) Well, okay, after the Xmas present--note to self: deposit check--probably not, but it's always fun to speculate. I'm so freaked by this, I still can't think straight. I have to talk to HR tomorrow, see if this is something I can swing work wise.
