Well, Sportscar, which really needs a new title has been fiddled with a little today. I've got some ideas about a section about boys and their dogs right now. But my desk is hitting my arm just right to cut off circulation lately So it's really hard to type with pins and needles in my hands. I'm thinking the theme in it may be communication. hmm. I could totally make this a genre novel. After all, Hardwired, my universal grammar novel is all about communicating as well. It would have to be rather Bellwhether-ish in layout, but I could do it. In theory. As I can't even manage Hardwired as a SF novel at the moment, it would probably mean I could do part of it and let it sit for a year. So maybe not. :) Not that the novel's moving any faster as mainstream, mind you. but at least I've got a theme now.

Blinding the Seasons (aka The Cassandra Vaccine) is still languishing. Promising, but languishing. And I've gotten one of my favorite reviews ever for it, where someone told me my names were cliched (uh, duh. they're months.)

Ebear keeps trying to get me to torture characters, but I can't do it. She wants me torturing Rome and the girl--come to think of it, the girl doesn't have a name. I'm torn between something cheesy like Cara--oh, how the girl was tortured by Italians for that name--and something normal and/or american. Anyways, she's insisting on conflict.

No news from SH yet. Everyone likes to torture me by rejecting me at the last minute. And I have to go talk to my bosses tomorrow about taking a leave for Clarion. Everyone who reads this, remind me of that tomorrow at work. I have to track them down, I'm running out of time.
