I usually hate Badly Drawn Boy, but I'm really liking the song on KCRW's tune of the day today.

My radiostation is sick. I am hoping it is just sick, and not terminal, as in replaced by a new format. Perhaps if I still knew anyone who lived in the Atlanta area, they could tell me, but alas, he's living on a couch in Providence, so that doesn't help me much.

I need to rank semipros for submitting to, and it's confusing me--I've never dealt with semipros before, other than LCRW and the occasional thing to Ideomancer. I may avoid it for now by sending Firing to Fantasy. It was beautifully laid out, after all.

The phrase, "Or I'll cut you" doesn't get used enough in communications with editors, I think. It's probably a little blunt for the submission emails (buy this story or I'll cut you), but perfect for the queries:

Dear Editor: I know you don't want my story. Give it back or I'll cut you. Love and kisses, Celia.

I have to make a list of semipros. Suppose I should pull out the survey results from back in the day and see which ones I should be subbing to. :)

I apparently was drunker last night than I realised, because I could not find my work ID this morning. I remember taking it off, and I vaguely remember deciding not to put it where it's supposed to be. And now I can't find it. Anywhere. At all. My current suspicion is that it's worked its way into the comforter cover. But I'm not sure I really believe that.
