(no subject)

my mother says Darwin misses me again--he'd been hiding all weekend so I didn't see him until this morning, but he came in twice before I left for petting, and then he came in a couple of other times and looked around for me, crying. He's such a baby.

I am postponing the rest of my trip report because I had a frightful allergic reaction saturday evening which made my eyes hurt so much I could no longer wear a contact in the left one. There's been a definate pattern of late. I am not amused by it. I had to keep my eyes closed for most of my trip back here, since my bad eye hurt so much. The other symptoms of allergies left as we were driving, and by the time I got here I was 95% better. I dosed that eye when I got here, and the other eye just before i came up for bed, and I'll dose them again in the morning.
