(no subject)

Yesterday i:

• was reminded yet again that when I ask the tools team questions about their tools, I need to ask questions about my desired end result, and not about the steps I think it will need to take along the way. (this has a mostly happy ending, as they may have exactly the tool I need, the only key bit is will they have the right tool in time for me to use it.)
• found happiness in the form of a new CD (CDBaby, the cutest CD store on the net, sent me an email about the CD I've been waiting for to come back into stock, and thus I will soon hold in my cold little hands, the Guggenheim Grotto CD.) (my hands are always cold.)
• Invited a total stranger to come out drinking with my coworkers (temp working for one of the people who sits near me.)
• drank 'heavily' for the second night in a row. (quotes are because while I define 4 ciders as heavily, others may not.)
• had a total blast with a number of my coworkers, a housemate, girlfriends of two of the coworkers, a coworker of a girlfriend, and Hannah.

This morning I:

• had a dream about chance wanting her book back.
• bought my Boskone membership
• got an LJ comment by one of the band members of the afore mentioned band
• got my locus
• made plans to go shopping all afternoon.
