(no subject)

Everyone in the house approves of my voice, and I'm rather impressed that it's lasted this long. Yesterday we added a few lines to the "Hi. What are you wearing," bit in honor of the weather--"It's so hot, I don't want to wear anything at all. I just want to lie around and run ice cubes over my body." Perhaps I should test my phone posting capabilities so you all can approve of my voice as well. Usually I go all croaky by now, but I"m still pretty husky, except when it disolves into a coughing fit, which is only sexy if you've got a thing for consumptives. My housemates disapprove of the coughing, but hey, I do too. It looks as though I picked this up from a coworker, and passed it on to the rest of the house--a couple of the other girls have sore throats. I would have loved to stay in bed and sleeeeeep for hours today, except for the fact that I don't think I can sleep past about 10:30 in that room--4th floor south facing in 90 degree weather? I decided that if I came in to work and couldn't stay here, I'd package stuff up to work on from the house, but that's more of a punishment than a reward--no air conditioning.
