Today's surprise? No one actually bothered to find out what the various people using the program for do with it before they created a new program. So, it doesn't do something that we depend on it doing. We're not going to use it until it does.
I really *really* don't understand this. If they were creating this new program, wouldn't it have made sense to make sure before they did it that they knew what they needed it to do? All they had to do is ask the PAs. The Program Managers, even, but I bet they would have referred the development people to the PAs as well.
We did at least win a meeting with the peeps in charge of this all, so we can show them what we need this do to, and hopefully they'll listen before they make the new program and launch it and make us use it. Which was the last plan.
In celebration of having money in my bank account, I am trying to get it out of my bank account. :) I paid my college pledge (and they're just lucky I can't include comments this way, because if I did, I would mock the tag line, "The Farther Journey" for it is pointless and stupid. But I do love my college, so I don't mind giving them money. I even gave more money than I'd pledged, cause I put it in the scholarships fund, and I got a *lot* of money from their scholarships, so it's only fair to give money back. And I'm about to go crazy and buy a couple of shirts to replace the ones I have that are all falling apart. I'm a little hesitant over one, ( Read more... ) which I think is cute, but is it me? And I can't try it on, so I don't know what the fabric is like, and what if I hate it? *worries* I will get this one ( Read more... ) because it's my favorite, and my old ones are all but worn out, but I can't remember if it's a large or an XL. It's a good thick fabric though, which means it can't be fitted or it will drive me crazy.
So far as responsible behavior, if you were wondering, I am paying off big chunks of credit cards. And I'll pay more off at the end of the month, after my next pay check so I'll know I'll make rent, just in case. I may even get both the little cards paid completely off. We'll have to see.
