White Orchid
Mar. 20th, 2005 11:51 pmback in the day, by which I mean september or so, I found a big orchid plant that someone had thrown out, and rescued it and repotted it and everything. The downside of it being a found orchid is that I don't know what it will look like when it blooms. (The upside is that it was probably a $100 plant, thrown out because the cheap plastic pot it was in was falling apart.)
Anyway, I don't know for sure what it will look like, but I suspect it will either be like this one or the red one that's after it in the photostream on flicker. but I may yet be completely wrong. thus far though, all the plants I divided it into (three) are still alive, if not flourishing, and two of them are doing pretty well for themselves. The third is downstairs for some remedial work, since the downstairs plant before it has done very well for itself.
