So, one of the girls in the house, she went to philly the weekend before I moved in, and she went to Giovanni's Room, and she saw Kirsten, and she remembers cause she thought Kirsten was cute.  Which of course she is.  I just kept forgeting to tell Kirsten this.  I think she may not be on my friends list at the moment, or she hasn't been online in a while.

I wonder if I can find a boy who would like to help me research angel smut.  Seeing as I'm revising Falling and all, I mean.

Much walking today.  Not much of anything else.  Cleaned the bathroom, mostly.  Did the CD work.  Meeting for Reflection could have been worse.  I skipped Meeting for Worship so I could sleep in and clean the bathroom, mostly.  Tomorrow I mean to pack my digital camera with me and take photos of the flower beds while I walk to and from work, so my mom has things to work off of for her backyard.

I should have an hour of free time this week, thanks to my CD work.  Chance will give me a dollar if I proposition Chai boy.  I could try and combine these two statements.

I have so much to write for Falling, but is it enough to make it a novel?  Stay tuned.

I got all excited glancing at my temp agency site, cause I read my overtime rate as my hourly rate.  It's pretty much exactly what i'd adore.  :)  Well, at least as a temp job.  I did email the new woman I'll be reporting to and asked basically, 'what's up?" I'll keep you all aprised of the details.

I love KCRW. I go through their archives at work before 10, which is when the morning show on my radiostation is over (and I will never understand why stations insist on having morning shows when the whole reason I listen to them is that I like their music, not that I like listening to annoying people make stupid jokes.) Lately I've been listening to Death Cab because even though I gave in to temptation and all, the album that I have doesn't have all the songs from the KCRW thing that I really love so it was on endless repeat all last week. :) So far this morning I tried Simple Kid which didn't really do anything for me, and I considered Dresden Dolls, but everyone knows my feelings about women singers (in summary--blech). Keane, which is sounding lovely, would make a splendid tour along with Rufus. I am in love with them. Not surprisingly, they're english. :) Pretty boy band with a piano in it. Not as Torch as rufus, but then again, who is? (PS--we hates Chris Barzak, as he saw Rufus this weekend. *hates*.) I also have "Keaton Simmons" written on a piece of paper, so I clearly didn't hate them when I listened to them, so Jer, if you're still looking for music you might listen to them. Keane is better though. I have a new love. *swoons*

I didn't chat with Chai boy this morning, as it was freakishly busy--there were people sitting at tables, people waiting before and after me in line, and it was like 8:40 in the morning, same time I'm always there. Craziness. but he did undercharge me and ask me how my weekend was. :)

gah. AIM isn't working, even any of the online-only versions. All I've got left to do with my latest task is check that all the map slides are present. Which would be easier if the master file of map slides wasn't the size of rhode island. I've restarted my computer twice, and the program 4 times. Every time I need to reopen that file it takes me about 20 minutes. I've spent most of the last hour killing time while files opened, locked up, and crashed. It's been a great day so far, let me tell you. I am so more than willing to burst into tears right about now. the only thing I did get done since 11 or so got lost when the program crashed the first time. Or maybe the second. THey're all running together. The only plus side is that I've successfully hypnotized myself into planning to go buy this album over lunch instead of doing anything useful with my money.

Oh, IM is working again. For now at least. I still might have to go kick things.

The hypnotism took.  I *booked* it down to CDspins and back in about 25 minutes, $8 poorer but one CD richer.  Mmmm.  Lovely music.  mmmm.  And then I stopped at the tea shop again on my way back to work, and once again it was insanely busy (at 2:30, for whatever reason).  So I didn't really get to chat with him, but he asked me how my day was going and I said it was lovely since I'd managed to get the CD I was looking up, and he was all interested-looking and wrote down the name to look up tonight.  :)  So maybe tomorrow it won't be insanely crowded, though he does make a habit of taking longer with me than he should.  I suppose the time saved not having to ask what I want helps there. ;)
