I started doing work on the german book, so far just making the images. I know that using style sheets and such will be easy as pie, I just have to be told what exactly I'm looking for. And when I told Joe I needed him to show me what exactly to be doing, he said nice things about how quickly I pick up information.
I had lunch (ish) with Chance and Dena. Tea. Chance, drunk on the glory of having turned in her project, even bought it for us. Dena brought me some of my mail.
Including a rejection from Ellen Datlow for Red Sky. She wasn't fond of the ending, in that she didn't actually know it *had* an ending. So we'll have to look at that before we send it out anywhere else. Which is possible because
My laptop is here! It just got here about 20 minutes ago, and so I haven't played with it much yet, but I have it and I loves it, and the screen is bigger than our first TV was. (plus, it's color). So wheeee! Now I have to take it downstairs and see if I can't make the wireless parts of it work. I understand that in theory they're easy enough, but converting theory to practice is often rather hard for me.
