books read recently
Feb. 14th, 2004 01:39 amIt's been a while since I listed books. Hmm. Watermelon. This Heart of Mine. In the Frame, Enquiry, and To the Hilt. The Pretender. The Seductive One. Legion's Ladies. Split Ends and Misbehaving (Flyfishing is on my to read pile). Heavenly Detour. Lord Logic and the Wedding Wish. Hot Number. Slightly Tempted. Some jack-the-ripper subplotted romance. The newest Jane Feather....The Bachelor List, that's it. Winter Fire, though that was a while ago. After the new year, though. Again the Magic. The Accidental Duchess. hmm. Little Bitty Lies. The Five Minute Marriage. The thing about men. Kissing Frogs.
Looking back through my previous entries, I see I didn't list the Clare Naylor books: Dog Handling and Chasing Alice, which is why I took out Angels, which is why I read Watermelon, though I never did read Angels after all. There were two or three other library books in the bag as well, but I don't remember what they were, and I don't think I finished it. I still haven't found Telzey Amberdon, though it's in this house somewhere, unless I left it at someone's house. But they would have mentioned it by now, surely. And I got out bookends, and started reading it, and put it down somewhere else. Hmm. I need to find that, since it's a library book.Ooh. Besides the Clare Naylor I'm missing (Love: A user's Guide), I see there's a new one "The Goddess Rules."
And just so you all know, you can ask me about any of the books I mention (or that I mentioned Jan 5th or Jan 20th) if you want an idea what it was about or whatever. :) It's all good, so long as it wasn't a silly romance that I forgot as soon as I finished it, but I actually think I remember the plots for most of the books I see listed. And my count puts the books at 36, though I know I've forgotten plenty (I can even remember that I've forgotten them, I just can't remember them. ;)
