Dec. 28th, 2003 12:58 amI love Christian Slater, even in really bad movies. I mean, Kuffs was bad, but Bed of Roses is *bad*. If he brought me Sterling Roses, I'd marry him in a heartbeat. I love Sterling Roses. Either this TV or this channel is on crack though, and the color's all messed up--the Sterlings look pale pale pink. Uck. I love sterlings, usually. But more than that, I love stainless steel roses. I'm okay with them not even smelling like roses, though I can't remember if I've ever actually seen them. Ultraviolet, my favorite florist in the whole world, I think they had them once.
Ultraviolet, by the way, isn't done justice in the website, though the photo galleries have some gorgeous things in it. The whole store is stocked by color, usually, so you'll walk in there one day, and it's all lavender. And then next week, everything would be orange and brown, and another day it would be a totally different color. Oh, I loved this place. It was along the canal, about two and a half blocks from the office when we were still in Georgetown. I try very hard not to want cut flowers, cause they're dreadful wastes of money, and they just die. But this store, it always made me wish I had the sort of family that sent flowers, just once. Chris would get flowers from her family for random special events--graduation, some birthdays, stuff like that. And I tried very hard not to be jealous of them, but damn, when I went to UltraViolet, I wanted someone, anyone, to be sending me flowers. :)
