If one has icky ears, and one finally gets miticide put in them, one should not scrub one's ears with one's paw to get rid of the icky medicine, and then lick it off, as it tastes *quite* awful and will result in you running around foaming at the mouth because of the bad taste.
I Freaked out because cats aren't supposed to be foaming at the mouth, and he keeps getting sick again and sneezing (which is why my mom keeps talking about having the mama cat outside shot because she's always sick) plus, he's like, hunkering down as he moves, which turns out to be an attempt to escape the nastiness in his ears, but makes him look very very unhappy and sick. I think he's feeling better now. He was moving the water bowl so he could drink, last I saw him. My cats must *always* move the water bowl before they can drink, even if it just splashes on their feet and gets all over the floor. Perhaps they will only drink running water? Or they're just freaking weird.
Though on the other hand, some small cat with bad ears may now be shut in the toyroom, as Darwin who was 'just looking at the birds, honest' before I shooed him out and shut the door is now making little noises and sticking his feet under the door up to his shoulders. Though I'm not seeing other legs coming out of the toyroom, so perhaps he's just annoyed that I made him give up the birds.
