There are wolves in our walls.

Well, grey things anyways, with teeth and tails and all that. Technically, they're probably a little smaller than wolf sized. And wearing army boots, I think. Back when we fed the dogs round dog food, I swear you could hear them rolling it across the ceiling, but now they just scuttle around in the walls in the bathroom and rustle things. My mom says to put poison in the access trap thing for the shower upstairs (our bathrooms are stacked). I'm leaning towards lifting up one of the ceiling tiles and putting one of the cats up there. But they probably wouldn't really fit. Though there's a whole in the floor of the guest bedroom closet, and years ago when we first cut it, which was when my dad was redoing the kitchen and it had no ceiling, my cat-at-the-time would crawl down through it and sit on a beam in the middle of the room.

Anyways, I did shopping today. Much shopping. My feets hurt. But I got presents for my Stepmom, two brothers, some stocking presents for my mom, a couple things that while be for me. I still need a real present for my mom, and...oh, friend presents. I did get something for Chris too, I forgot. And I had to restrain myself from buying presents for Heather, but I know how she *hates* getting presents, so I managed to hold out. (Oh, she denies it, but I know she's just trying to make me feel better about sending them, and that really she hates getting things.)

And now I'm off to shower and be squeaky clean and then sleep. *sleep* Well, maybe some reading first. I seem to be ignoring my writing lately--my brain is sorting out a couple of stories, I hope, and I"ll be able to tackle writing them once the allergy meds kick in and I don't get headaches by evening.
