Two subs today, taking my total up to 5. The piece I just sent to Analog is almost cyberpunkish (it's more post-cyber punk, I suppose). The piece I sent to Polyphony 3(a anthology of magic realism/slipstream/etc stuff.) is magic realism. I think maybe I'll write to my college president tomorrow, and tell him I subbed Bough. I wrote it--the first 6 pages--for the class I had with him. It was on the emergence of the modern mind, and he asked what the post-modern paradigm would be. I said 'illiterate," and wrote the story to prove my point. it doesn't, really, but that's okay, cause it's a better story this way.

I was going to write, but I didn't. eh. Tomorrow. dog dreams. Or possibly a piece about a kid who throws his voice and loses it. Think "Detachable Penis."

hmm. State of the Union? Or Down and Out in the Magic Kingdom? Like there's really a competition there. *shudder* My Whuffie would go *way* down if I was caught watching this. Not to mention my spirits and my hope, and all the rest of the stuff.
