Jun. 8th, 2002 01:18 amOkay, I'm almost all packed. Chatting with a boy from school instead of closing this up and finishing up. But I'm silly like that. I think I've got everything I need, and I really couldn't fit more than a handful or so of stuff into the bags at the moment, so it will have to do. I know I"ll be mailing things home come mid July. I had to order books by the authors--Sister Noon by Karen Joy Fowler and The Sweet and Sour Tongue by Leslie What--and I had them sent ahead, and my pusher is sending me some others, including the Ryman I'll need and a Blaycock. I think there are other in there, I just don't know what they are. Guess it will be a suprise.
THe apartment could be cleaner, but heavens it could be worse. When chris leaves it usually looks like a huricane came through, usually with a flurry of small pieces of paper. I should actually have 95% of my stuff put under my bed in the various piles there where it more or less belongs.
I love talking to boys. This one is particularly nice because I know him. I went to school with him for 4 years, and had some things in common with each other throughout the years, and I was on a long term committee with him senior year, where I really got to know him. He's ridiculously tall. 6'7" I think. I've danced with him once or so, where he was so tall my arms would have gotten tired if we were waltzing. THat's probably why he chose to take up swing dancing. I'm hoping I"ll get to see him while I"m in MI. He's sweet as anything, and we talk on IM now and then. Not as often as I could, but maybe more than I should. Bad Celia.
Okay, I'm way way tired now, so it's shut this down, pack it up, and off to bed time for me. I have to remember to grab my alarm clock in the morning. That and my toothbrush and hairbrush. I'm going to forget the hairbrush, and probably the clock as well.
