May. 13th, 2002 04:56 pmThe web site advertises free digital roaming. but never actually defines what that means. Which, being as they're a cellphone company, isn't surprising. I mean, I can guess what it means, but heavens knows if that's really what it means, being as nothing in cellphone seems to translate appropriately into english.
So I got through all the faqs about roaming, and they explain what roaming is, but never what exactly they mean by free digital roaming. it's *nowhere* on the site. there's all sorts of stuff about roaming. So I finally get around to emailing them. And they reply (very promptly. I'm impressed. it means, in one sentence, if I can get a signal, it's free. Would it kill them to put that on the site? It's even catchy.
