I finished books this weekend, a number I'd started either earlier in the week or ages and ages ago.
Monkey Business, by Sarah Mlynowski
The Green and the Grey, by Timothy Zahn
Case Histories, by Kate Atkinson
And some romance I'd read before...oh, and Savannah Blues, by Mary Kay Andrews
Monkey Business, typical chick lit--deeper than most non-chicklit romances (such as the other one up there. Savannah Blues was along the same lines, though i think I liked it more, which I wasn't expecting because usually I love Sarah M's books. The Green and the Grey--well worth reading, sort of a modern/urban sf story, I guess. his best one is still A Coming of Age though. Get it. And Case History, soooooo good, and soooo creepy. She's up there with Maggie O'Farrell in my list of excellent authors.
THe heat is offically not on in this part of the building. Our room is at like, 70. Which is a great temperature when you're hot, but not so much when you're freezing. So I'm using my cloak as a laprug. Which is good for all but my fingers which are still ice cubes.
We had our benefits training this morning. I lasted until 10:30, and then was forced to flee when we had a break before training to use Lotus Notes. A) I've been using it for the past 8 months, B) it's not that hard anyways, and C)I will kill people if I have to sit through group software training sessions.
